Effective Date And Company Identity
These Terms apply to Leave, a trip-planning and coordination service operated by Leave Travel Technologies Inc. By creating an account, joining a trip, uploading content, using AI features, or buying a paid feature, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility And Minimum Age
You must be old enough to use online services in your jurisdiction and at least 13 years old. If you use Leave on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Trip Membership And Administrators
Trip owners and administrators may invite or remove members, manage trip settings, moderate shared trip spaces, and control paid trip features. Information and content shared in a trip may be visible to active trip members according to the feature and settings you choose.
User-Generated Content
Leave handles chat, photos, documents, receipts, expenses, live location, AI attachments, polls, notes, tasks, itinerary items, and other user content. You are responsible for content you submit and for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to share it.
Content Licence
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Leave a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display, transmit, moderate, and reproduce that content only as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service and make it available according to your selected trip-sharing settings.
Prohibited Conduct
Do not use Leave to harass, threaten, bully, defraud, impersonate others, share illegal or exploitative content, infringe intellectual-property rights, upload malicious files, spam invitations, evade blocks or moderation, scrape the service, or interfere with Leave's systems or users.
Reporting, Blocking, And Moderation
You can report content or users and block people in supported app surfaces. Leave may review reports, remove content, restrict features, remove users from trips, suspend accounts, or take other action to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
Location Sharing
Location sharing is optional and trip-specific. Location information may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable and must not be relied upon for emergencies or personal safety.
Expenses And Settlement Records
Leave records shared expenses, balances, and settlement statuses. Leave does not transfer money, hold funds, collect debts, or verify that a payment occurred. Users are responsible for confirming amounts and payments.
AI Features
AI-generated summaries, research, extracted details, and drafts may be incomplete or incorrect. Users must review and approve information before relying on it or adding it to a trip.
Paid Features And App Store Purchases
Paid features may be purchased through Apple App Store systems and validated through purchase-management providers. A Trip Pass applies to the selected trip and may include higher limits or AI import allowances as shown in the app at purchase time. Store terms, refund rules, taxes, and payment processing are handled by the applicable store.
Beta-Service Limitations
Beta access may be limited, withdrawn, or changed. Beta features may contain bugs, change without notice, have limited support, or experience data resets as we prepare Leave for broader availability.
Third-Party Services
Leave integrates with third-party services for hosting, storage, authentication, push notifications, maps and places, AI processing, crash diagnostics, email delivery, purchases, and app-store distribution. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies.
Suspension And Account Deletion
You may initiate account deletion in the app. We may suspend, deactivate, or limit an account, trip, or feature when needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or operate the service.
Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability
Leave is provided as a planning and coordination tool. Travel information: Leave is a planning and coordination service, not a travel agency, carrier, accommodation provider, insurer, financial institution, or emergency service. Users remain responsible for verifying bookings, schedules, entry requirements, and travel information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leave is provided without warranties and Leave Travel Technologies Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, unless the laws where you live require otherwise.
